Colin O'Connor's (Kankakee, IL/Providence Catholic) first goal of the season with less than four minutes remaining pushed visiting Buffalo State past Cortland, 3-2, tonight in a SUNYAC contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Zach Nieminen (Ajax, ON/Notre Dame CSS) added a goal and an assist for Buffalo State, and Cody Symonds (Woodbridge, ON/Emily Carr) also scored.
- Cortland produced the only goal of the first period while on a two-man advantage.
- Symonds tallied his first collegiate goal early in the second period.
- Nieminen's fourth of the season less than three minutes into the final frame gave Buffalo State its first lead.
- The Red Dragons responded 10 minutes later, setting the stage for O'Connor's game-winner with just 3:28 remaining.
- Ian Sylves (Sloan, NY/JFK) made 24 saves in the victory as the Bengals were outshot 26-24.
