Bri Gawronski (Dunkirk, NY/Mt. Mercy) registered her first collegiate shutout for Buffalo State in a 2-0 NEWHL victory today at Cortland, completing the two-game weekend sweep.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lenard opened the scoring just 3:03 into the game with assists from Erin Gehen (W. Seneca, NY/W. Seneca West) and Christine Harris (Mountain Top, PA/Wyoming Seminary), and nobody scored again until Lenard sealed the win with an empty net tally with just 49 seconds remaining.
- Gawronski turned aside all 17 shots she faced for the shutout, including needing to make just three stops in the third period.
- Buffalo State finished with a 38-17 advantage in shots on goal for the game.

- Rachel Farmer had 36 saves to help keep Cortland in the game.
