Liv LeBaron (Horseheads/Corning Painted Post) netted 25 points to push visiting Buffalo State to a 62-56 victory at Alfred State tonight in non-conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- LeBaron led all scorers with 25 points, including going 9 of 10 at the free throw line, including hitting 4 of 4 in the closing seconds to seal the win. She added nine rebounds, three assists and two steals.
- Grace Licata (Williamsville/Williamsville South) chipped in 11 points with three 3-pointers, and Katie Villarini (Hamburg/Hamburg) added 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.
- Jenna Faulkner (Lockport/Starpoint) had nine points and five boards.
- Buffalo State led by as many as 11 in the first half before taking a 31-26 lead into the intermission.
- The Pioneers scored the first seven points of the second half to take their first lead, and still led by one at 41-40 entering the final frame.
- Buffalo State opened the final quarter with an 8-0 run and pushed the lead to 10 before holding on down the stretch.
- The Pioneers cut the deficit to two with a 3-pointer with 16 seconds remaining, but LeBaron iced the game with four free throws.
- Buffalo State outscored Alfred State 16-0 off the bench and 14-5 at the charity stripe.

- Rayanna Anderson led Alfred State with 22 points, while Catherine Bialecki added 18 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocks.
