Nicole Torres (Wantagh/MacArthur) posted her first shutout of the season as Buffalo State picks up a 2-0 victory over Baldwin Wallace in the final game of the Bengals Classic.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State opened up the scoring in the 13th minute when Mahoney found the back of the net off the corner by Breanna Knight (Valley Stream/Valley Stream South).
- Baldwin Wallace had an opportunity to even the score on a penalty kick, but goalkeeper Torres made a diving save to keep the score 1-0.
- Senior Victoria Colotti (New Windsor/ Newburgh Free) drove home a header in the 22nd minute off the free kick from Knight to push the lead to 2-0.
- Torres picked up the shutout win in the net for the Bengals, making seven saves.

- Sophia Weidner picked up the loss in the net for the Yellowjackets.
