BUFFALO, N.Y.—
Barak Benyehuda (Syracuse/Westhill) found the back of the net for the first time this season to lift Buffalo State to a 1-0 victory over the University of Rochester this evening on Coyer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State started off the game playing a defensive battle by stopping nine first half shot attempts by the Yellowjackets.
- The Bengals' defense was rewarded in the 16th minute, when Benyehuda gathered a loose ball off a free kick from Luke Pavone (Rochester/Churchville-Chili) and ripped it into the back of the net to give Buffalo State its first lead of the game.
- Rochester threatened in the second half, but goalkeeper Andreas Queen (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) recorded five saves en route to his third shutout of the season.
FOR THE FOES
- Redd Brown recorded two saves in net for the Yellowjackets.
