Lindsay Mahoney (Port Jefferson/St. John the Baptist) scored twice as Buffalo State posted a 2-1 victory over host D'Youville in a non-conference game tonight at Dobson Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mahoney, a senior who had scored two goals in 43 games as a Bengal, broke out this evening. She tallied her first goal of the game and second of the season in the 31st minute.
- She then provided an insurance marker in the 62nd minute.
- D'Youville made it interesting with a goal in the 72nd minute, but Buffalo State held on for the victory.
- Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) needed to make just one save for the win in goal for the Bengals.
- Buffalo State dominated D'Youville with a 25-3 advantage in shots, including 14-2 on goal.
