BUFFALO, N.Y.—
August Finn (High Falls/Rondout Valley) and
Maissa Dieye (New York/Manhattan International) each recorded a goal for the first time this season to lead Buffalo State to a 2-0 victory over Morrisville State this evening on Coyer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State controlled the possession early in the game, which led to Finn's header in the fifth minute that found the back of the net off the assist from Ali Shawish (Lackawanna/Lackawanna).
- A physical match ensued throughout much of the first and second half, with the Bengals defense holding Morrisville to only six shots for the game.
- Buffalo State would finish off its scoring in the 66th minute, when Josh Beshaw (Lockport/Lockport) slipped a through ball to Dieye for the breakaway score.
- Goalkeeper Andreas Queen (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) made one save en route to his fourth shutout of the season.
FOR THE FOES
- Cody Gaines recorded five saves in the net for the Mustangs.
