The Matchup…Buffalo State is off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 1999 after erasing an early 14-0 deficit to defeat RPI 33-21 last Saturday at Coyer Field.  The Bengals are also 1-0 in Empire 8 play.  Alfred University is currently ranked 20th in the D3Football.com national poll after opening the season 3-0 and 1-0 in E8 play with wins over Ithaca, Utica and Rochester.  The Saxons have won five-straight meetings with Buffalo State since the Bengals joined the E8 in 2012.
