BUFFALO, N.Y.— Buffalo State could not overcome a 16-0 run by Geneseo to close out the first half as it dropped a 58-36 decision to the Knights in a SUNYAC contest this evening in the Sports Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Liv LeBaron (Horseheads/Corning Painted Post) led the Bengals in scoring with 13 points, three rebounds and two steals.
- Grace Licata (Williamsville/Williamsville South) chipped in five points.
- Buffalo State and Geneseo saw their offenses stall in the opening minutes until Geneseo closed the frame on an 8-0 to take a 15-6 lead.
- The Bengals cut the lead to four points on a 3-pointer by LeBaron with 6:19 left in the second quarter.
- Geneseo used a 16-0 to end the first half to take a 36-16 lead at halftime and used the momentum to cruise for the win.
- Buffalo State shot just 31 percent from the field for the game and was 4 of 15 from 3-point range.
- The Knights shot 46 percent from the floor and was 4 of 7 from the charity stripe.
