Josh Glaub (West Seneca/West Seneca East) paced Buffalo State in his first collegiate meet, leading the host Bengals to a second-place finish today among five complete teams at the Daniel Walker Invitational at Beaver Island State Park.

- Glaub was the first Buffalo State runner across the finish line, placing fifth in the 42-runner field, covering the 5K course in 17:51.
- Greg Avila-Shah (Lewiston/Lewiston-Porter) followed closely in sixth with a time of 18:11.
- Josh Behuniak (Williamsville/Williamsville East) raced to a ninth-place finish in 18:52, edging out teammate Jerome Masters (Grand Island/Grand Island) who was 10th in 18:57.
- Benaleo Daniels (Binghamton/Binghamton) completed the scoring for Buffalo State in 13th (19:26).
