ROCHESTER, N.Y.—Buffalo State competed in its first 8K meet of the season in the heat today at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational at Genesee Valley Park, placing 14^th of 14 teams.

• Greg Avila-Shah (Lewiston/Lewiston-Porter) led Buffalo State, finishing 78^th in the 203-runner field, clocking 28:59.2.
• Freshman Josh Glaub (West Seneca/West Seneca East) crossed 105^th in his first long course race with a time of 29:43.2
• Josh Behuniak (Williamsville/Williamsville East) placed 120^th in 30:01.1.
• Jerome Masters (Grand Island/Grand Island) and Benaleo Daniels (Binghamton/Binghamton) completed Buffalo State's scoring, finishing 150^th (30:54.9) and 160^th (31:25.5) respectively.
