GENESEO, N.Y.—Geneseo netted three second-half goals for a 3-0 win to deal visiting Buffalo State its first SUNYAC defeat of the season this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams played to a scoreless opening 45 minutes with Geneseo holding a 6-3 advantage in shots.
- The Knights took control in the second half, however, outshooting Buffalo State 12-0 over the final 45 minutes.
- Geneseo pulled away with goals in the 48th, 62nd and 80th minutes.
- Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) finished with eight saves in the loss.
FOR THE FOES
- Caitie Cunningham finished with a goal and two assists to lead Geneseo.
- Taylor Clar and Miranda Ozimek also scored.
- Emily Janiszewski made just one save for the shutout.
