HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Saxons opened the scoring in just the ninth minute and then extended the lead to 2-0 in the 20th minute.
- Neither team would score the rest of the way as scoring chances were at a premium.
- Alfred and Buffalo State each attempted just six shots for the game, with the Saxons holding a 4-1 advantage in shots on goal.
- Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) had one save with two goals against, and Isabella Vene (Deer Park/Deer Park) finished with one save over the final 55 minutes.
