ONEONTA, N.Y.— Buffalo State used a pair of second-half goals by
Erin Valente (Latham/Shaker) and
Emma Boccolucci (W. Seneca/W. Seneca East) to defeat host Oneonta 2-1 today in a SUNYAC contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oneonta opened the scoring with the only goal in the first half, striking in the 34th minute.
- Valente got the Bengals on the scoreboard in the 68th minute with a chip over the keeper's head for her fourth goal of the season.
- Boccolucci netted the game-winner on a header off a corner kick by Allie Reeds (E. Amherst/Williamsville South) for her second tally of the season.
- Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) made five saves to preserve the victory.
- The Bengals finished with a 16-14 advantage in shot attempts and had a 7-4 edge in corners.
