WINCHENDON, Ma.—Franklin Pierce scored four goals in the third period to pull away from visiting Buffalo State in a 6-1 non-league victory this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless first period, the Ravens opened the scoring early in the second frame, and then extended the lead to 2-0 with a power-play goal.
- Buffalo State cut the deficit in half with a shorthanded goal by Lila Toczek (Pendleton, NY/Starpoint) before the second intermission.
- Franklin Pierce blew the game open in the third period with four goals in a span of less than 10 minutes and cruised to the five-goal win.
- The Ravens outshot the Bengals, 60-18.
- Bri Gawronski (Dunkirk, NY/Mt. Mercy) finished with 45 saves. Soleil Archambeault (London, ON/Medway) made nine saves on nine shots in relief.
