- Hobart added a pair of second-quarter touchdowns, scoring on a 7-yard run by Haeffner and a 17-yard catch by Tim Denham to take a 26-7 lead into halftime.
- Then, Denham returned the opening kick of the second half 80 yards to extend the lead to 33-10.
- A 23-yard field goal by Buffalo State's Tommy Carr (Churchville/Churchville-Chili) accounted for the only other third-quarter points.
