Women’s Soccer falls to Farmingdale State in opener, 1-0

TROY, N.Y.— Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) made eight saves for Buffalo State, but a first half goal for Farmingdale State proved to be the difference in a 1-0 decision today on the first day of the season-opening RPI Engineers Cup.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Rams tallied the game's only goal in the 27th minute. 
  • Carillo stared the game and made eight saves in 74 minutes before Isabella Vene (Deer Park/Deer Park) and Kim Buehlmann (East Aurora/Iroquois) shared the remaining minutes with neither keeper facing a shot.
