PLATTSBURGH, N.Y.—Buffalo State secured its first SUNYAC win of the season today defeating host Plattsburgh 2-1 on the strength of goals by
Nemanja Simic (Grand Island/Grand Island) and
Anthony Roncone (W. Seneca/W. Seneca East).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless opening half, Simic started the scoring in the 53rd minute depositing a loose ball in the box into the back of the net.
- The Cardinals evened the score in the 71st minute, but Roncone connected on a short feed from Josh Beshaw (Lockport/Lockport) and slid it inside the left post less than four minutes later and the Bengals held on the rest of the way.
- Andreas Queen (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) finished with four saves to preserve the win as total shot attempts for the game were registered as 9-7 in Buffalo State's favor.

- Cole Weiner score the lone goal for Plattsburgh.
