Aaron Davis (Beacon/Beacon) and
Argjend Imeri (Syracuse/Nottingham) each posted career-highs with 19 and 13 points respectively, but Buffalo State could not overcome a double-digit first-half deficit as it dropped an 86-66 decision to host Oswego in SUNYAC action this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Davis led the Bengals with 19 points to go along with three assists.
- Imeri chipped in 13 points on 6 of 10 shooting from the floor, while Jordan Christopher (Bronx/Mott Haven Campus) nearly posted his second double-double of the weekend with 11 points and nine rebounds.
- Both teams traded points in the opening minutes until the Lakers shifted momentum with a 27-8 run over the span of eight minutes to take a 44-24 lead with two minutes left in the first half.
- The Bengals capitalized on a three-point field goal by Christopher to trim the deficit to 49-31 at intermission.
- Buffalo State started off the second half by scoring 10 of the first 12 points to trim the lead to 51-41 with 16:04 left in the contest.
- Oswego responded with a run of its own to push the lead back to 66-45 just past the midway point of the second half.
- The Lakers maintained a double-digit lead for the remainder of the contest to clinch the home victory.
- Buffalo State shot 37 percent from the floor but held a 15-7 advantage in fast break points.
- Oswego shot 40 percent from the floor and outrebounded the Bengals 50-37.
FOR THE FOES
- Joe Sullivan and Jeremiah Sparks each finished with 18 points to lead the Lakers, with Sullivan adding a team-high 13 rebounds.
- Jordan Brown chipped in 16 points and eight rebounds.
