Sheldon Adams (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) finished with 30 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, while
Jordan Christopher (Bronx/Mott Haven Campus) notched his fourth career double-double, but it was not enough as Plattsburgh outscored the Bengals 15-13 in overtime en route to an 87-85 win in the Sports Arena this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Adams led Buffalo State in scoring while shooting 5 of 11 from behind the three-point line.
- Christopher chipped in 19 points, on 4 of 6 shooting from distance, to go along with a team-high 12 rebounds.
- Mark Worthy (Williamsville/Williamsville South) added 12 points off of the bench, while Kay Grant (Jamaica/Thomas Jefferson) finished with seven points and seven rebounds.
- Jordan Morgan (Brooklyn/Thomas Jefferson) tallied a career-high six points and five rebounds.
- Buffalo State sprinted out of the gates with nine-straight points in the first two minutes to take an early lead.
- Plattsburgh responded by scoring on the next possession to shift the momentum as the Cardinals used a final 9-0 run to take a 38-32 lead at halftime.
- The Bengals opened the second stanza with an early run to reclaim a 54-53 lead with 9:19 remaining on a layup by Christopher.
- Buffalo State held the slim lead for the rest of regulation until a 3-pointer by Plattsburgh with 29 seconds remaining sent the game into an overtime session.
- The Bengals capitalized on a three-point field goal by Adams to start the extra session but failed to maintain the lead as the Cardinals rallied to take an 81-77 lead with two minutes left.
- After Plattsburgh extended its lead to 87-82 on a pair of late-game free throws, Adams connected on a 3-pointer as time expired to complete the scoring.
- Buffalo State shot 39 percent from the floor and held a 22-15 advantage in bench production.
- The Cardinals shot 50 percent for the game and outscored the Bengals 52-32 in the paint and 21-15 on the fast break.
