HOW IT HAPPENED
- After falling behind 3-0 in the first period, Buffalo State answered with a pair of goals just over two minutes apart in the middle frame.
- Lexi Lazore (Akwesasne, NY/Salmon River) put Buffalo State on the board first with her second of the season on the power-play, and then Tristin Stetson (Anchorage, AK/West) cut the deficit to just one with her third of the year.
- The Red Dragons reclaimed the two-goal lead in the first minute of the third period and held on for the win.
- Bri Gawronski (Dunkirk, NY/Mt. Mercy) finished with 32 saves in the loss as the Bengals were outshot 36-23.
