HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals held a 10-8 advantage in shots on goal in the opening period, but neither team was able to score as they entered the first intermission scoreless.
- Both teams had power-play opportunities in the opening frame but weren't able to capitalize.
- Nearing the midway point of the second period, Shane Beaulieu redirected a shot from the point by Jacob Gaydos for the only goal of the contest.
- Norrman made 21 saves in the second period.
- The Bengals had two chances on the power play in the final period, but could only muster two shots on goal in those chances.
- Norrman register 20 more saves in the final period to keep Buffalo State in the game.
- In the final minute, the Bengals pulled the goalie for an extra attacker, but were unable to score the equalizer.

- Beaulieu scored the lone goal, with Gaydos and Jake Ballagh registering assists.
- Luca Durante stopped 28 shots for the shutout victory for Cortland.
