MORRISVILLE, NY - Morrisville State scored 28 unanswered points, pulling away as the Buffalo State football team dropped a 41-10 decision to the Mustangs, in non-league action from Drake Field Saturday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Cam Crosier (Kenmore, N.Y./Kenmore West) scored Buffalo State's lone touchdown with a 54-yard reception from quarterback Javon Ford (Lockport, N.Y./Lockport), finishing with five receptions for 73 yards.
- Ford came off the bench, completing three of five passes for 67 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 44 yards on eight carries.
- Starter Cam Sionko (Grand Island, N.Y./Grand Island) went 12 of 20 for 73 yards through the air, with an interception.
- Darren Thompson (Buffalo, N.Y./St. Joe's) led the Bengal defense with eight tackles.
- Justin Jones (Amherst, N.Y./Canisius) added six tackles.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After both teams punted on the first possession, Morrisville stuck first with a six-play, 86-yard drive, capped off by a five-yard Alex McBurnie touchdown run.
- The Bengals responded with a 12-play, 49-yard drive of their own, as Nick Sciandra (North Tonawanda, N.Y./North Tonawanda) kicked a 22-yard field goal to bring the Bengal deficit to 7-3.
- After Morrisville State forced an interception, the Mustangs struck paydirt on the next play from scrimmage, a 21-yard touchdown pass from Alek Britten to Kade Gabler to give Morrisville a 14-3 lead.
- McBurnie's second touchdown of the game, a nine-yard run, gave Morrisville State a 21-3 lead into halftime.
- Morrisville extended the lead to 31 with two more touchdowns, both on the ground as Justin Donnelly scored from 28 and 26 yards.
- Buffalo State broke the run with a touchdown-scoring drive to begin the fourth, as Ford and Crosier hooked up with a 54-yard touchdown pass and catch on 2nd-and-20.
- Morrisville's fourth rushing touchdown of the game finished the scoring, as Steven Frerichs scored on a two-yard run.

- McBurnie rushed for 191 yards on 26 carries with two touchdowns.
- Donnelly added 59 yards on the ground with two touchdowns.
- Britten completed 9 of 12 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.
