OSWEGO, NY – Bella Vene (Deer Park, NY/Deer Park) made 16 saves for the Buffalo State women's soccer team on Wednesday afternoon as the Bengals played to a scoreless draw on the road against Oswego State.

- Vene finished the half with five saves to keep the game scoreless.
- The Lakers upped the pressure in the second half, blasting 26 shots at the Bengals' goal.
- Vene and the rest of the Buffalo State defense held firm against the oncoming barrage.
- Oswego State had an opportunity to take the lead in the 87th minute, but a shot struck the right post and stayed out.
- Vene made one final save in the 88th minute, her 11th of the second half.
