BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's soccer team dropped its final home contest of the season on Wednesday evening at Coyer Field, falling to Geneseo 2-0. The game was also the Cancer Awareness Game, as the Bengals raised money for cancer research for Roswell Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Geneseo opened the scoring in the 17th minute, as Nicole Bell headed home a corner kick past a diving Vene.
- Geneseo nearly doubled its lead minutes later, but Vene was able to divert a long-range attempt onto the crossbar and keep the ball out of the net.
- Geneseo maintained its 1-0 lead into halftime.
- The Bengals' best opportunity of the game came in the opening minutes of the second half, as Valentic was denied by Knights' goalkeeper Angel Bennett with a diving stop to her right.
- Geneseo doubled its advantage in the 62nd minute as Mckinley Skala finished off a shot past Vene after a strong ball over the top of the Bengals' defense.

- Bennett kept a clean sheet with three saves.
- Four different players registered a point for Geneseo.
