BUFFALO, NY – The Bengals fell in a neck-and-neck four-game set with Geneseo tonight at the Buffalo State Sports Arena. The team has officially clinched a playoff spot for the second consecutive season.

• Geneseo dominated the first set, taking the win 25-13.
• In the second set, Geneseo jumped out to a 18-11 advantage.
• The Bengals would gradually claw their way back to tie the set a 22 all.
• Harrison earned a kill to give the Bengals the lead and shift the momentum.
• After an attack error from the Knights, Hugenschmidt earned an ace to even things up.
• Geneseo would regain their momentum, taking the third set 25-17.
• The final set was a constant back-and-forth affair that saw multiple lead changes and ties.
• Buffalo State and Geneseo would be knotted up and force to play extra points.
• The Knights earned the final point from Sommer Madigan to take the 30-28 victory.

FOR THE FOES

• Linda Rossi had 17 kills to lead the Knights.
• Emily Haber had 40 digs in the win.
