BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's soccer team dropped its final contest on Tuesday evening at Coyer Field, a 2-1 decision to Hobart in non-conference action.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Manu Prieto (Cascais, Portugal/Salesianos de Estoril) scored the lone Buffalo State goal, his third of the season.
- Ali Mohamed (Lackawanna, NY/Lackawanna) assisted the goal with a perfect pass.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hobart controlled possession for the opening minutes, but the Statesmen were unable to break through first.
- In the 29th minute, Agastya Dharmaraj (Bangalore, India/Inventure Academy) made a strong intervention to prevent a great scoring opportunity for Hobart.
- The Bengals got on the board first in the 34th minute, as Mohamed sent a perfect cross-field pass from 45 yards out. Prieto took a great first touch, and slotted past the goalkeeper with the outside of his right foot.
- With under 15 minutes remaining, the Statesmen equalized on a shot from distance that glanced off the Bengals' goalie and into the bottom left corner.
- Four minutes later, Hobart netted the winner after a corner kick was headed off the crossbar and the rebound was headed into the back of the net.

- Amad Miller netted the winner for Hobart, while Quinn Phillips scored the equalizer.

Buffalo State finishes the season with a 4-8-5 overall record. The Bengals were also 2-5-2 in SUNYAC play.
