BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's volleyball team plays host to Medaille University tonight at 6 p.m. at the Sports Arena. The Bengals lost to Brockport 3-0 on Saturday in their most recent game, but have clinched the No. 6 seed in the SUNYAC Playoffs. The Mustangs lost both of their games in a tri-match on Saturday, but have similarly clinched a spot in the Empire 8 Playoffs.

Breaking Down The Bengals:
· The Bengals sit at 11-9 overall, and finished SUNYAC play with a 4-5 record to earn the No. 6 seed.
· Liz Schultheis (Holley, NY/Brockport) leads the Bengals with 67 total blocks on the season, including four against Brockport, tied for the second-most in the SUNYAC.
· Jenna Hugenschmidt (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence) added eight digs last time out to bring her tally to 299 this year, the most for the Bengals, slotting her in fourth place in the conference in the category.
· Riley Domin (Getzville, NY/Williamsville South) added another service ace over the weekend, bringing her team-leading count to 43.
Musing About The Mustangs:
· Medaille enters its final regular-season game with a 6-21 record, but a 4-5 Empire 8 showing was good enough to earn them a playoff berth.
· The Mustangs are led on offense by Halle Bogas and Chase Luebeck, whose 265 and 237 kills, respectively, lead the team by a wide margin.
· Bogas has the second-most kills in the Empire 8, and the third-most points overall at 310.
· Baylee Romano leads the Mustangs with 44 service aces on the year.
