BUFFALO, NY - The Buffalo State women's basketball team heads on the road for a non-conference battle against La Roche University. Both Buffalo State and La Roche will look to earn their first win of the season. Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm.

·         Tashawni Cornfield (Gowanda, NY/Putham) leads Buffalo State averaging 15.5 pts/game.

·         Cornfield earned a season-high 21 points against the Saxons last time out and also had 8 steals.

·         Fellow sophomore Brianna Smith (Oakfield, NY/Oakfield) is averaging 11.5 pts/game with 12 total rebounds and 5 assists.

READING INTO THE REDHAWKS

·         La Roche enters today looking to rebound after a 72-54 loss to Washington and Jefferson College last weekend.

·         Sophomore Makayla Abram leads the Redhawks averaging 11.0 pts/game.

·         Abram is also 7-10 from the free throw line and averaging 4 rebounds/game.

·         Senior Machia Hariston is averaging 10.0 pts/game with 17 rebounds and an assist.
