- The Roos doubled their advantage in the opening minute of the second period on a goal by Gracyn Emmerton.
- Canton held a 13-10 advantage in shots on goal in the second period.
- The Roos sealed the victory with a trio of goals in the third period, capped by the final goal in the last 15 seconds by Hannah Clement.
