MORRISVILLE, NY – The Buffalo State men's hockey team took the win against Morrisville tonight by a final score of 3-2.
Nikita Kozyrev (Tallin, Estonia/Springfield Jr. Blues) scored his first goal of the year for the Bengals and also tallied an assist.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Kozyrev netted his first goal of the season. His assist marked his second of the year.
- Ryan Messing (Hamburg, NY/Metro Jets) scored his first collegiate goal and Nick Stuckless (Orangeville, ON/Skidmore College) found the back of the net for a second straight game.
- Emil Norrman (Kungsbacka, Sweden/Dells Ducks) tallied 33 saves in the victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Morrisville got the scoring started on the night with an early goal in the first period.
- In the second period, Messing would take the pass from Joe Glamos (Baldwinsville, NY/New Jersey Titans) and even the score 1-1.
- Later in the period, Stuckless would score, giving the Bengals a 2-1 lead.
- After a string of five shots from the Mustangs, the Bengals regained possession as Kozyrev would tally the third Bengal goal of the night.
- The Mustangs would score just under two minutes later.
- Norrman made his final save with :20 seconds remaining to solidify a Buffalo State victory.
FOR THE FOES
- Trevor Neumann scored both goals for the Mustangs.
- Ryan Creenan made 26 saves on the night.
