Yousif Kowa (Buffalo, NY/Hutch Tech) and
Moe Saif (Lackawanna, NY/Coppell, TX) have been named to the SUNYAC men's soccer All-Conference team, the conference announced on Tuesday evening.
Saif earns his second conference honor in as many years after another strong performance in the midfield for the Bengals. He captained Buffalo State for most of the year, and finished the conference schedule with four points on one goal and two assists. Saif scored the opening goal in a win over Potsdam, and added assists against Oswego State and New Paltz.
Kowa wrapped up a solid first season in the black and orange in which he finished conference play with three points on one goal and one assist as a center back. He scored the opening goal for Buffalo State against Plattsburgh State and assisted the opening goal against Fredonia. Kowa also led a backline that was able to keep four clean sheets throughout the season.
