BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's basketball team dropped their SUNYAC contest with the New Paltz Hawks tonight by a final of 75-65 at the Sports Arena.

- Argjend Imeri (Syracuse, NY/Nottingham) added 19 points and 8 rebounds of his own.
- Robert Richards (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville South) recorded a double-double as he notched 10 points and 11 rebounds.
- The Bengals were 14-17 (82.4%) from the free throw line.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals offense got off to a strong start as they opened the night with a 16-9 run.
- New Paltz slowly clawed their way back and took the lead after a dunk from Tyreik Frazier.
- The Hawks kept the pressure on offensively and went into the half up 39-30.
- New Paltz opened the second half to eventually hold a game-high 18 point lead.
- Buffalo State found themselves back into things after a 13-0 run, anchored by a three-pointer from Imeri.
- The Hawks re-gained their momentum and opened things back up to a 13 point lead and held on for the win.
- New Paltz held the advantage in rebounds by a 44-38 mark.
FOR THE FOES
- Rylan Blondo netted 17 to pace the Hawks offense.
- RJ Meyers-Turner and Lucas Seyoum also had double-digit nights as they scored 16 and 15, respectively.
