BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's basketball team dropped a conference contest to three-time defending SUNYAC champion New Paltz on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 92-26.

- New Paltz raced out to a 22-2 lead, and held a 28-6 advantage after one quarter.
- The Hawks held the Bengals to just four points in the second quarter, leading 49-10 at halftime.
- Awen Kuethping (Syracuse, NY/Henninger) and Jones made consecutive baskets for Buffalo State in the third quarter, before the Hawks extended their lead.
- New Paltz was able to coast to the victory.
