BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's volleyball team plays host to the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in a non-conference matchup. The Bengals will look to continue their recent momentum, as they have won their last two matchups, including a road win over Fredonia last Wednesday in a Battle by the Lake contest.

The Bengal Report
· Winners of two straight, the Bengals have jumped back over .500 and now sit at 6-4 on the season.
· In their sweep of Fredonia last time out, Samantha Coakley (Lockport, NY/Lockport) led the Bengals with 10 kills, extending her team-best 91 through 10 matches.
· Karlie Shaffer (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown East) chipped in 13 assists, and Riley Domin (Getzville, NY/Williamsville South) added 12 more for the Bengals.
· Defensively, Eden Harrison (Eldersburg, MD/Century), Jenna Hugenschmidt (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence) and Angelina Scichilone (Holtzville, NY/Sachem East) each contributed seven digs in the win.
Pondering the Panthers
· Pitt-Bradford has won three consecutive matches after a rocky start to the season, pushing them to a 5-10 record.
· Over the weekend, the Panthers hosted a tri-match, earning victories over Fredonia and Wells College.
· Olivia Reese led the way in both victories, with 11 and 9 kills, respectively.
· Stephanie Carson had 14 digs to lead the Panthers against Fredonia, while Kayla Maslowski contributed 12 digs in the win over Wells.
History
· The Bengals and Panthers have squared off 18 times previously, with each team winning nine matches.
