OSWEGO, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team dropped a NEWHL contest on the road to Oswego on Friday evening by a final score of 3-1.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Madi Digges (Madison, AL/St. Louis Blues AAA) netted her third goal of the season for Buffalo State.
- Vanessa Willick (Williamsville, NY/Buffalo Bisons) and Sarah Jackson (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls Rapids) each registered an assist.
- Jessica Auge (Laingsburg, MI/Honeybaked Detroit) stopped 42 shots in goal for the Bengals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Auge was up to the task for all 12 shots she faced in the first period, keeping the game scoreless into the first intermission.
- Oswego got on the board first just under seven minutes into the second period, with Ariella Haas lighting the lamp.
- The Lakers extended their lead with a power-play goal with less than four minutes remaining in the period, holding the 2-0 edge into the intermission.
- After an Oswego penalty in the third period, the Lakers scored a short-handed goal to make the score 3-0.
- With just over seven minutes to go in regulation, Digges pulled a goal back for Buffalo State.
- Auge stopped 18 shots in the third period to keep the score at 3-1, but the Bengals were unable to pull any closer.
FOR THE FOES
- Three different players scored for Oswego, and Lexi Levy stopped 12 shots to earn the win in goal.
