NEW PALTZ, NY – The Buffalo State men's basketball team dropped their contest tonight with SUNYAC-rival New Paltz and the Hawk Center by a final score of 80-43.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Robert Richards (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville South) and Argjend Imeri (Syracuse, NY/Nottingham) each scored six points for the Bengals.
- Richards also had a team-high seven rebounds while Mally Peaker (New York, NY/University Prep) had six of his own.
- Steph Vergara (Queens, NY/Francis Lewis) had three steals for the Bengals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After opening the half on a 6-0 run, New Paltz dominated much of the rest of the way as they saw their lead reach a peak of 25.
- At the half, the Hawks went into the locker room with a 34-14 lead.
- Buffalo State found some life in the offense in the second half as they attempted to chip into the Hawks lead.
- The deficit was too much to climb and New Paltz was on cruise control the rest of the way.
FOR THE FOES
- Lucas Seyoum had a game-high 16 points for New Paltz.
- RJ Meyers-Turner and Sean St. Lucia scored in double figures as well with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
