CORTLAND, NY - The Buffalo State men's basketball team dropped a SUNYAC contest to Cortland on Saturday afternoon by a score of 102-59 at Corey Gym.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE

• Matt Parkinson (Springfield Gardens, NY/Johne Browne) led Buffalo State with 20 points.
• Jeremiah Miller (Clinton, MD/Grace Brethren Christian) had 13 points, while Jaiden Allen (Marlboro, NY/Marlboro) had 12.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The score was tied at 11-11 after a made layup by Parkinson early, but Cortland began to build its lead from that point, closing the half on a 44-16 run. 
• Cortland extended its lead to 54 in the second half with just over four minutes remaining in the game. 
• The Bengals ended the game on a 14-3 run, but it was far too late to make an impact. 

FOR THE FOES

• Austin Grunder had a game-high 32 points and 13 rebounds to lead Cortland.
