BUFFALO, NY – Two first half goals gave the visiting Lakers a comfortable cushion at halftime, and Oswego held on for a 2-0 win over the Buffalo State women's soccer team in SUNYAC action on Wednesday afternoon on Coyer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Each team had one opportunity in the opening minutes, but the goalkeepers handled both shots on target.
- Oswego took the lead in the 26th minute, as Katie Delgrosso stole the ball from a Buffalo State defender, came in alone on goal, and shot a left-footed shot into the bottom right corner of the net.
- The Lakers strung together multiple passes to add a second goal in the 44th minute, finished off into the net by Saara Marinaro.
- Buffalo State had its best opportunity to score in the 64th minute, as Bush's shot from distance was saved at the top right corner of the net.
- The Bengals were unable to muster a goal, and had to play the final seconds down a player after a red card.
FOR THE FOES
- Perri Anderson made three saves for the shutout victory.
- Alora Miller recorded an assist on the second Oswego goal.
