PLATTSBURGH, NY – The Buffalo State men's basketball team fell short in their comeback effort this evening against the Plattsburgh Cardinals as the Bengals fell 77-66 at Memorial Hall.

- Parkinson has scored at least 20 in three of his last four games, and seven times this season.
- Jeremiah Miller (Clinton, MD/Grace Brethren Christian) had 10 points for Buffalo State while Tyron Smith (New York, NY/Thurgood Marshall) led the team with 5 assists and 3 steals.
- Buffalo State outrebounded the Cardinals by a narrow 44-40 margin.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cardinals opened today's contest with a 7-0 run before the Bengals got on the board after a layup from Smith.
- Plattsburgh maintained control through the rest of the half and went into the locker room with a 49-30 lead.
- The Bengal offense found some momentum in the second half as they slowly chipped away at the Cardinal lead.
- Parkinson nailed a layup to get the lead down to 11, but Plattsburgh was able to hold tough down the stretch to secure the victory.
FOR THE FOES
- Kevin Tabb and Sheriff Conteh each scored 16 for Plattsburgh.
- Myles Jones and Franklin Infante joined them in double digits with 15 and 11 points, respectively.
