OSWEGO, NY – The Buffalo State men's hockey team fell to Oswego by a final score of 7-3 on Friday evening.

- Joe Glamos (Baldwinsville, NY/New Jersey Titans) scored a pair of goals for the Bengals.
- Tyler Vanuden (Fort Frances, ON/Finlandia University) also scored for Buffalo State
- Liam Gross (Fort Washington, PA/New Jersey Rockets) made 38 saves in goal for the Bengals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers struck first 7:28 into the first period on Trent Grimshaw's first goal of the night, but Glamos netted an equalizer just over a minute later off assists from Hayden Ford (Medford, NJ/Philadelphia Revolution) and Ryan Leonard (Duxbury MA/Lindenwood University)
- Oswego netted another goal with just over five minutes left in the period, and within two minutes, Glamos had equalized once again.
- The Lakers scored a pair of goals in the final four minutes of the second period to take a 4-2 lead into the second intermission.
- Oswego score two more goals in the third period, before Vanuden's 12th goal of the season made it 6-3.
- The Lakers tacked on an empty-net goal on Grimshaw's third goal of the night in the final minutes for the 7-3 final score.
FOR THE FOES
- Grimshaw tallied a hat trick, and was one of five players to record multiple points for Oswego.
UP NEXT
The Bengals will wrap up the regular season tomorrow against Cortland at 7 pm, with an eye towards the playoffs. Buffalo State is now locked into the fifth seed, and will travel to either Cortland or Geneseo next Wednesday evening.
