BROCKPORT, NY – The Buffalo State women's basketball team finished the regular season on Saturday afternoon with a 69-54 loss to Brockport.

- Emma Cohen (Utica, NY/TR Proctor) set a new career-high with 11 points.
- Jadyn Jones (Gowanda, NY/Lake Shore) chipped in nine points, while Carly Atty (Tribes Hill, NY/Fonda-Fultonville) scored eight points and had four assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams traded baskets in the early portion of the game, with Brockport holding a 13-8 lead late in the first quarter.
- A jumper by Riley Domin (Getzville, NY/Williamsville South) and a layup by Atty in the final seconds closed the gap to one point at the end of the quarter.
- The Bengals opened the second quarter by scoring eight straight points on three baskets by Adiya Jones and one by Jadyn Jones.
- Brockport responded with a 20-6 run over the final seven minutes of the half to lead 33-26 at halftime.
- Buffalo State opened the third quarter with a pair of 3-pointers by Jadyn Jones and Cohen, and eventually took a 37-35 lead after a layup by Emily Goodstal (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley).
- Another run by the Golden Eagles turned the Bengals' two-point edge into a nine-point deficit at the end of three quarters.
- Brockport outscored Buffalo State 17-11 in the fourth quarter to earn the victory.
