BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team finished up the regular season on Saturday afternoon with an 8-0 loss to nationally-third ranked Plattsburgh at the Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Plattsburgh opened the scoring with a goal 4:48 into the first period off a shot that snuck past Auge and a Bengals' defender was unable to clear the puck off the goal line.
- The Cardinals added a pair of goals in the final five minutes of the period to lead 3-0 at the first intermission.
- Plattsburgh added two more goals in the second period, including a short-handed goal.
- The Cardinals netted twice in the opening four minutes of the third period, and a final tally with under four minutes left in the game.
FOR THE FOES
- Sierra Benjamin and Ivy Boric each recorded three assists, while Julia Masotta scored two goals for the Cardinals.
