- After a Potsdam penalty, McCosh tapped home his own rebound to tie the game once again with 14 seconds left in the period.
- Allison ripped a one-timer on a drop pass from Glamos for a short-handed goal to give the Bengals a 4-3 advantage with ten minutes remaining in the third period.
- The Bears were able to equalize once again, as Quesnel snuck a puck past Norrman, and after a lengthy discussion amongst officials about whether the puck had gone in the net or not, the goal stood.
- Each team had one shot attempt in the opening minutes of overtime, with each goalie handling the chance.
- After another Potsdam penalty, the Bengals displayed excellent puck movement, and Allison's second goal of the game sent the Ice Arena into a frenzy.
