ONEONTA, NY – The Buffalo State women's lacrosse team dropped their contest with the Oneonta Red Dragons by a final score of 17-9 at Red Dragon Field.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE

• Sarah Fineour (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca East) led the Bengals offense with three goals.
• Lauren Rinow (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) had two goals and an assist.
• Rinow also had three groundballs while Emilee Josker (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) secured four draw controls.
• Beth Kulikowski (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) made 12 saves for the Bengals.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After a quick 2-0 start from Oneonta, Fineour found the net to get Buffalo State on the board.
• The Red Dragons offense would power itself to a 10-2 run to close out the half with a 12-3 lead.
• Rinow would score her second goal of the game early in the third from the free position to try and get the Bengals offense going.
• Oneonta's offense would be in cruise control the rest of the way as they ran out the clock to secure the win.

FOR THE FOES

• Megan Foiles had five goals, six draw controls and an assist in the win.
• Marissa Evans tallied two goals and two assists.
• Courtney Gallagher and Jennifer Tumino combined for eight saves in the win.
