BROCKPORT, NY – The Buffalo State women's lacrosse team finished their regular season as they fell short to the Brockport Golden Eagles with a final score of 16-2.

• Vanessa Willick (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville East) netted both goals for Buffalo State.
• Tashawni Cornfield (Gowanda, NY/Putnam) and Lauren Rinow (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) each had two draw controls.
• Beth Kulikowski (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) made 11 saves in the effort.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Brockport dominated the first half on offense as the scored 11 goals in the first 30 minutes of action.
• Buffalo State took advantage of a clock violation on Brockport as Willick got the Bengals on the board early in the second half after scoring her team-leading 38^th goal of the season.
• After Rinow secured the draw control, Willick would find the back of the net again for her 39^th goal of the season in the fourth.
• The Golden Eagles would run out the clock to secure the win.

FOR THE FOES

• Alayna Foos led Brockport and scored five goals while also tallying an assist.
• Erin Lant and Hannah Parsons combined for five saves in the win.

The Bengals finished their season with a record of 6-9 (2-7 SUNYAC).
