BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's soccer team, led by head coach Francesco Cardillo, has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2023 season. The Bengals will compete in a 17-game regular season schedule featuring six contests at Coyer Field and nine SUNYAC matchups.
 
The Bengals will open the season on the road at Mount Aloysius on September 3^rd, before returning to Coyer Field for the home opener on Sept. 5 against Hilbert.
 
Buffalo State will then compete in the Fredonia Classic where they will see the likes of Geneva (Sept. 8) and Houghton (Sept. 9). After a quick trip to Grove City on Sept. 16, Buffalo State begins SUNYAC play on Sept. 20 at Brockport, the first of six straight conference contests that features home contests against New Paltz (Sept. 23), Fredonia (Sept. 27), Geneseo (Oct. 4), and Potsdam (Oct. 7).
 
The team will then play a pair of non-conference matchups, at Morrisville on Oct. 9 and hosting Alfred University on Oct. 11.
 
Cardillo's squad will finish the regular season with three more SUNYAC matchups, all on the road at Plattsburgh (Oct. 14), Oswego (Oct. 18), and Oneonta (Oct. 21), before playing their final regular season game on Oct. 24 at Hobart.
 
Buffalo State will then look to get back to the SUNYAC Playoff, which will be held from Oct. 28-Nov. 4. The Bengals have earned postseason berths in six of the past seven seasons.
