BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's basketball team released its schedule for the 2023-24 season on Monday.
The Bengals open the regular season by competing in the Nazareth University Tournament on Nov. 10-11, taking on the Golden Flyers in the opening round on Friday night.
Buffalo State will return home the following weekend for a pair of non-conference contests against Utica and Alfred University. The Bengals then travel to Virginia for the Christopher Newport Tournament on Nov. 25-26.
Buffalo State begins SUNYAC play with a "Battle by the Lake" contest against Fredonia at home on Dec. 2, then closes out the 2023 year at Division I Niagara University on Dec. 10.

Fajri Ansari's team rings in the New Year with three consecutive SUNYAC contests on the road, at Potsdam (Jan. 5), Plattsburgh State (Jan. 6), and Brockport (Jan. 9).
Of the Bengals' 12 games in January, six are at the friendly confines of the Sports Arena, including home games against Oneonta (Jan. 12), New Paltz (Jan. 13), defending-conference champion Oswego (Jan. 19), Cortland (Jan. 20), Geneseo (Jan. 23), and Brockport (Jan. 30).
Just two of the final five games are at home for Buffalo State, hosting Plattsburgh State on Feb. 9 and Potsdam on Feb. 10. The Bengals wrap up the regular season at Cortland and Brockport on Feb. 16-17.
