MORRISVILLE, NY – The Buffalo State men's soccer team had a dominant performance to secure a 7-1 victory over the Morrisville Mustangs this afternoon at Drake Field.

- Seven different Bengals netted a goal as Frank Colella (Staten Island, Tottenville), Ali Mohamed (Lackawanna, NY/Lackawanna), Yousif Kowa (Buffalo, NY/Hutch Tech), Diego Rivera (Hudson, NY/Cairo Durham), Nacho Caceres (Hopewell Junction, NY/John Jay), Dodou Ndow (Schenectady, NY/Schenectady), and Joseph Desmonie (Valatie, NY/Icabod Crane) each found the back of the net.
- Colella, Riley Quinn (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster), Edu Martinez Gutierrez (Newburgh, NY/Newburgh), and Julian Hughes (Westmount, QC/Dawson) each tallied an assist.
- Shae Wirt (Overland, Park/KS/St. Thomas Aquinas) and Max Shoemaker (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Wheatfield) combined for three saves in the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Colella got the scoring started after the pass from Quinn just five minutes into the match.
- Shortly after, Mohamed scored to give the Bengals a 2-0 cushion.
- After Kowa's goal made it 3-0 Bengals, Rivera found the back of the net less than a minute later.
- Caceres joined in on the action before the half came to an end as Buffalo State led 5-0 after 45:00 of play.
- Ndow added to the Bengals right out of the gate to open the second half.
- Morrisville scored shortly after to get on the board, and end their all-time shutout streak against the Bengals.
- After a Mustang penalty, Desmonie capitalized on the opportunity with a penalty kick goal.
- Buffalo State outshot the Mustangs with a 16-5 margin.

- Mateo Barahona scored the lone Mustang goal.
- Garrett Boyonoski mae four goals in the effort.
