BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's soccer team fell short in their SUNYAC opener tonight against Brockport by a final score of 2-0 on Coyer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles got on the board first after an own goal just six minutes into the action.
- Shortly after, after a save from Kaufman, Brockport was able to get the rebound and score their second goal of the night.
- Buffalo State's offense continued to press but could not get past Brockport's defense.
- The Golden Eagles remained aggressive in the second half; however, the Bengals defense was able to hold strong.
- Brockport outshot the Bengals 21-9 throughout the match.
FOR THE FOES
- McKenna Slate scored her fourth goal of the year for Brockport.
- Madeline McCrosson made four saves for the Golden Eagles.
